Boy's Dorm- Room 15

Ryoko walked into the dorm room, remembering he had left his stuff in the library. Without a moment passing, he summoned his things to him and dropped them off in the corner. He flopped down onto his bed. "That was, uh, awkward." He said to himself, referring to what had happened with him and Haruki. He laid back comfortably, kicking his shoes off. They landed neatly, in a pair, in front of his bed. He had perfected this.

John walked into the dorm room. 'Perfect, he's here' I think. "Hey."

"Oh damn. Don't tell me you're my room-mate."

"Ok, I'm to your roommate" I say. 'Does he really hate me that much?'

"And if you're wondering if I hate you, no. I absolutely loathe you. My apathy for you and your cheery personality goes past the typical convention for the word hate. And that's that. Here's the rule." He made an invisible line through half the room with his finger. He pointed to the side he wasn't on. "That's your side. Stay off of my side. Simple. Follow that rule, I guarantee I won't put razor blades in your pillow."

"But, the bathroom is on that side." 'Does he read minds or something? I will obviously break the rules though.'

"Then I hope you have a bottle of some kind, or else you're pissing your pants. And, to clairfy the punishment for crossing the line, I will make you suffer so much the Devil will send you to Heaven, no matter how many sins you commit in this life." Ryoko said.

"Uh what?" I say. 'Is that a good or bad thing?'

"Let me put it simply. I will harm you." Ryoko said. He grabbed his phone and flipped it open. "Well hey, look at the time. It's almost time for dinner. Better get down there before all of the good food gets taken." He got up off the bed, put his shoes on, then left.

"I was gonna ask you-" I say. "Forget it Ill ask later." 'Well at least I brought some peanut butter sandwiches!" John noms on the sandwiches.

Ryoko re-entered the dorm room and laid down on his bed, kicking his shoes off onto the floor.

"Who's the girl?" I say bread crumbs near where I laid.

"..What?" Ryoko looked over at John.

"The girl?" I say, "I can see it in your face."

"Someone from class." Ryoko said simply. "No one you know, newbie."

"Come on" I say. "You can tell me anything."

"Haruki Taiyo, from my class, 1A. Really cute." Ryoko said, somewhat surprised he'd tell anyone that information.

"Ok" I say. 'So far so good' I think.

Ryoko summoned a book to himself and continued to lay back and read to himself.

"I honestly don't get what she sees in you" I say.

He ignored John and continued reading his book, yawning. He didn't care about the comment the newbie had made.

"Oh well" I say, "but I know that deep deep inside you are actually mad." I stared at the cieling.

"Maybe I am." Ryoko said. "Maybe I'm trying to be 'hospitable' for once. Maybe I'm trying to be nice, for once." He said calmly, turning through the book.

"What did she do to you?" I say. "Even though we just met, I know that's not you."

"Nothing." He said. "Believe it or not, I'm not a complete asshole. I can be friendly if I want to be. Take advantage of it now before I change my mind."
